²⁰ But the Lord made Pharaoh’s heart hard. He did not let the people of Israel go.

Darkness Covers the Land

²¹ Then the Lord said to Moses, “Put out your hand toward the sky. And there will be darkness over the land of Egypt, a darkness people will feel.” ²² So Moses put out his hand toward the sky. And there was darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days.
